A global manufacturing business are currently recruiting for a Health and Safety Coordinator This is an exciting opportunity with a unique and expansive business who invests heavily in staff development. As a Health and Safety Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing and implementing health and safety strategies and guidelines throughout the business.
Role and Responsibilities:
* Work collaboratively with the Health and Safety Manager and staff in the Engineering and Quality teams to oversee health and safety systems across the site.
* Develop and implement health and safety guidelines in relation to the companys manufacturing procedures.
* Help to train staff in understanding these guidelines and their importance.
* Conduct risk assessments and mitigate health and safety risks where possible.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
* Previous experience working in a health and safety role in a manufacturing industry.
* Experience conducting health and safety risk assessments and accident reports.
* Previous experience developing and implementing health and safety guidelines.
