NHIS Network and Telecommunications Engineer (Band 6 £37,338 to £44,962 a year per annum) Closing date: 29 September 2024 We have an opportunity for a full time, permanent team member to join Nottinghamshire Health Informatics Service (NHIS). The Network and Telecommunications team are responsible for the maintenance, capacity, performance and general management and availability of the organisation’s network and telephony estate which is around 200 sites. This role will help to support small or defined parts of larger projects at a technical level and to manage a small technical team on those projects. Applicants must be able to carry out regular maintenance activities such as, patching or upgrades across a wide portfolio of systems and be able to create system specific documentation such as Standard Operating Procedures and Change Control Requests as required. You must also be able to help us ensure the Network and Telecommunications estate is compliant with any Cyber Security requirements and audits defined by our partners, customers, or the NHS. These include Cyber Essentials, DCB1596, ISO27001 and the DSP Toolkit.
