SEN Teaching Assistant A Primary School that we work with on the outskirts of Gloucester is currently looking for a Teaching Assistant to join them as soon as possible. They have a 1:1 role that needs to be filled for a girl in KS1 with autism. She needs support keeping her focussed and with her learning as she struggles to engage with the lessons. This role will be on a part time basis and will be 8.30-12.30 every day, Monday to Friday. The school is looking for someone who can jump straight into the role and use intuition to pick the role up quickly. The girl the role involves has complex needs and needs consistency so you must be reliable and confident in your ability to support the child and adapt your methods in order to do so. You must have experience with SEN and be able to successfully demonstrate how you are able to support the child. Experience as a TA is also essential. What will you do on a daily basis?
