Job title: Service Delivery Lead

Salary: £54,793+ depending on skills and experience
What you’ll be doing:
* Support the process of managing, analysing and ultimately improving interactions with customers. Be visible and accountable on behalf of the DDT&E organisation in key market reviews whilst establishing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders in the market teams.
* Support the maintenance of a configured resource demand and supply dataset for FalconWorks activities for the DDT&E organisation. Ensure issues are understood, actions are in place and management information topical.
* Ensure when additional scope/work is identified it is agreed and managed effectively. Manage through the change management process (changes raised and approved) and agreed at the CCB.
* Support the recognition of issues raised by both the FalconWorks and DDT&E service delivery centre teams. Facilitate understanding of issues, causes and resolution. Provide feedback on status and results.
* Support the understanding of customer perspectives on performance and ensure feedback to SD teams. Support the identification and implementation of improvements.
* Support FalconWorks new business activities as required ensuring requirements are understood, captured and progressed through the DDT&E new business process.
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
* Ability to build and develop multi-functional relationships across a diverse stakeholder network.
* Ability to apply project management techniques, to enable early identification of problems and implementation of mitigation actions.
* Experience developing and maintaining an integrated project plan that embraces all elements of the project.
* Experience managing the project or bid to ensure all milestones and objectives are achieved.
* Proven ability to collaborate and influence across organisational boundaries at all levels of the organisation; integrating, prioritising and solving problems, as appropriate.
* Demonstrate excellent communication skills.
Desirable:
* Educated to degree level or equivalent – in Business or Engineering.
* Experience of Earned Value Management methodologies.
* Aerospace/defence sector exposure.
* Broad cross-functional business experience.

The Service Delivery team:
The Service Delivery team holds the primary interface with the Lines of Business (LoB) on behalf of DDT&E. The team is responsible for programme management of the projects DDT&E discharges. The team also captures and sequences New Business and Change requirements, providing harmonised DDT&E responses. The team works in conjunction with the Centre’s of Excellence to drive and improve performance, working with key stakeholders to understand and resolve issues. The Service Delivery leads are accountable on behalf of DDT&E in the key LoB and Air System Integration Team (ASIT).
