Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate activities and appropriate courses. Challenge negative behaviour and boost self-esteem through role modelling. Enhance prisoners' employability and support their rehabilitation to reduce reoffending. Deliver accredited and non-accredited courses in Functional Skills English and Maths. Monitor the uptake of courses and employ strategies to maximise attendance. Track learner attendance, achievement, and progression, reporting any issues to the Line Manager. Please see attached job description for further information regarding the role requirements. The Ideal Candidate Full teaching qualification (minimum of CTLLS) or PGCE, or working towards one. Experience delivering Functional Skills in a classroom setting. An interest in the rehabilitation and resettlement of offenders. Awareness of equal opportunities and a commitment to recognising diversity and inclusion. Experience in instructing or supporting individuals with challenging behaviour. An Assessor or IV qualification is desirable. Experience working in a prison environment. Package Description Salary up to £42,091.51 per annum - depending on experience. £38,362.27 per annum plus £3,729.24London Weightingper annum.
