BDS Recruitment have a fantastic opportunity for a Supported Housing Coordinator. This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the Countries leading providers of housing to older adults based in Brighton, BN2.
Duties:
1. Daily welfare checks to residents.
2. Facilitate property lettings and tenant communication for smooth onboarding.
3. Conduct regular health and safety checks to ensure property conditions are well-maintained.
4. Coordinate with external agencies and providers when necessary and sign post information.
5. Report communal area repairs and maintain strong partnerships with external support agencies.
Criteria:
1. The ideal candidate will have previous experience within a sheltered or supported housing setting.
2. Strong understanding of tenant and housing management.
3. Confident in conducting health and safety checks within residential environments.
4. Be an effective communicator.
5. Experienced in signposting.
Requirements:
1. You must hold an Enhanced DBS dated in the previous 12 months or on the update service, which is vital for this role.
Hours are 35 per week - Monday to Friday.
Payrate: £14.26 PAYE or circa £18 per hour via umbrella.
