Job Description
We are looking for experienced FMCG Production operatives with Fast moving consumable goods experience and a current RTITB FLT counterbalance licence that is in date. The role is based on the Runcorn Whitehouse industrial estate. The Famous Guinness brand needs motivated driven individuals who can add their experience and value to contribute positively to this incredible brand. Requirements:
1. Do you live close to Runcorn?
2. Have you previously worked in the FMCG production sector with a good level of experience (2 years or more)?
3. Do you have a counterbalance FLT licence in date? (MUST be RTITB - NOT essential)
Start date: 11/11/2024
Wage: Training wage £12 moving to £22.20 post sign off
Overtime: Opportunities for overtime paid at £29.05 and £33.31 per hour post sign off
The role will initially be for 3 - 6 months and could extend, dependent on the individual showcasing a strong work ethic and having a fully flexible approach. Attendance and punctuality are key to success in this role - there is a chance of ongoing work for our business.
Shifts are 12 hours per day, all breaks are paid for. The days of work can be from Monday - Sunday, with shift times from 7am - 7pm. Hours are usually a minimum of 4 days per week, with extra hours allocated. 4 days would be 48 hours pay and 5 days 60 hours.
Compensation:
1. Training wage: 4 Days pay £576 Per week.
2. 5 Days' pay £720 per week.
3. Post Training: 4 Days pay post training per week £1065.
4. 5 Days' Pay post training per week £1332.
The site is open 7 days a week, and the shift patterns will be a mixture of days and nights. You will be required to work a mixture of nights and days as 12-hour shifts.
Role / Skills:
1. Must have previous FMCG production operator experience (2 years plus)
2. A good awareness of health and safety practices in a busy production environment
3. Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness in the work area (5S experience)
4. Experience taking ownership of the machine you are running and following compliance procedures to meet SLA, plus demonstrating the ability to troubleshoot and rectify any errors within quality.
5. An eye for spotting issues on your designated machine to call for support in a timely manner
6. Experience completing online quality checks, maintaining high standards in product presentation
7. Experience labelling and packaging food or drink products into containers, cans, and packets.
8. Operating a FLT counterbalance truck efficiently and safely - hold a current counterbalance RTITB licence or regulated by another relevant body.
