We are seeking an Account Executive to support our commercial team. This is a results orientated role, you'll have the opportunity to leverage your expertise to become a trusted advisor to both clients and colleagues. You will play a pivotal role in developing strong relationships, expanding our market reach and achieving exceptional business growth. Please note this is a full-time, permanent opportunity. You will be based in our Norwich office and ideally be onsite for 3 days per week on average.
Overview:
1. To develop and maintain the relationship with existing clients and target new clients from the marketplace by the effective marketing of current prospects.
2. Establish and manage with each client a renewal strategy in accordance with the division’s procedures/aims to maximise renewal success.
3. Responsibility to ensure that clients are correctly and adequately insured for all of their insurance exposures and that correct advice is given.
4. To liaise with Account and Claims Handlers to complete all supporting documentation to maintain and achieve client service standards.
5. To support the Division in the achievement of sales targets.
6. To actively cross-sell products from other Divisions.
7. To maintain professional competence by complying at all times with the Training and Competence procedures of the firm.
8. To actively seek feedback from clients and respond to feedback received.
Knowledge:
9. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in providing specialist advice in the insurance market.
10. Qualified to a minimum of Dip CII.
Skills:
11. Excellent level of technical insurance skills, to be assessed by regular in-house testing.
12. Client service experience combined with negotiation and broking skills.
13. Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to persuade and influence others.
14. Ability to gather and analyse information from the client.
15. Good understanding of Corporate Governance, financial awareness and how a business works.
