Quantity surveyor

My client is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team at Hinkley Point C. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of a £85m E&I project in the UKs largest nuclear new build project. Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure the construction team is achieving best value to meet commercial targets.
* Ensure compliance with contractual processes and commercial governance.
* Support contract production and negotiations to secure the best terms.
* Prepare monthly site valuation and work progress reports.
* Assist in evaluating and preparing project payment applications.
* Verify sub-contractor monthly claims and be responsible for site measurement.
* Ensure all pricing documents, bills of quantities (BQ), contract documents, and quotations are in order.
* Responsible for the costing and preparation of pricing documents for submission.
* Monitor and control project budgets and cash flow, ensuring accurate forecasting to meet business expectations.
* Coordinate with contractors and site personnel to support reporting to the Senior Team.
* Support head office in managing compliant material purchasing.
* Liaise with site teams and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
