This organisation has an extremely low turnover due to endless career progression opportunities.In order to be suitable for this opportunity, you will have full end-to-end procurement experience, with a strategic mindset and have experience in working with and managing senior level stakeholders.Not essential, but preferable; anyone with UCR, PCR, OJEU or being trained on the PA 23 could be advantageous.Role and responsibilities:Create relevant category strategies through to the delivery and performance including year on year annualised savingsDevelop category plans and strategies to ensure alignment for the group, leveraging suppliers to support local officesSupport the development of category strategies to a clear and prioritised pipeline of sourcing projectsEngage, manage and influence senior stakeholders from Director to Board level to ensure buy-in, utilising strong market knowledgeBuild relationships with key stakeholders to ensure a rounded knowledge of a suppliers performanceMonitor supplier risk and performance through reporting tools and business feedbackBe a Procurement role model by living company values, consistently delivering to the high standards expected, promoting procurement through relationshipsOn top over delivering strategic projects, ensure the business is getting the best service in line with cost efficiencyExperience and requirements:Worked for a large, complex and multi-site businessUCR, PCR, OJEU or being trained on the PA 23Broad indirect and corporate services category experienceAbility to engage, negotiate and influence senior stakeholders up to Director level+Strong stakeholder management, using different approaches to type, level and maturity of relationshipAnalytical mindset and have strong communication skills to present ideas to the businessWorked in a large and cross-functional procurement teamMCIPS qualification nice to have, but not essential
