As a Recruitment Consultant, you’ll play a key role in driving the growth of our business, focusing on business development and building strong relationships with schools, educators, and candidates. While prior experience in recruitment is a bonus, we’re particularly keen to hear from individuals with a background in sales or business development — if you’ve got the drive and enthusiasm to succeed, we’ll help you develop the recruitment skills you need. You’ll join our thriving team, specialising in primary and SEN (Special Educational Needs) schools across the South East, and be supported every step of the way. Key Responsibilities Focus on business development by identifying new clients and building lasting relationships with headteachers, business managers, and SENCos (Special Educational Needs Coordinators). Actively source and recruit top-tier teaching assistants and learning support assistants, ensuring a seamless registration and vetting process. Create and manage a strong pipeline of candidates and clients, always seeking opportunities to expand your network and maximise placements. Work proactively to achieve both personal and team targets, consistently driving revenue and growth for your desk. Write and advertise job vacancies to attract the best talent and maintain an active pool of educators. Provide excellent customer service to both clients and candidates, ensuring a smooth recruitment process and fostering long-term relationships. Manage data accurately, ensuring all candidate and client information is up-to-date and compliant with regulations. Who You Are You’re a driven, self-motivated individual with a passion for sales and relationship-building. If you’re a natural communicator and thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment, you’ll excel in this role. We’re looking for someone who: Has experience in sales, business development, or recruitment (although recruitment experience is not essential). Enjoys building and nurturing relationships with clients and candidates alike, and excels at communication both in person and in writing. Has a strategic mindset and enjoys taking initiative to drive business growth. Is organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
