We are recruiting x permanent Approved Mental Health Professionals (AMHPs) for our Mental Health Adult Social Care team. The team provides comprehensive health and social care services to residents, working under the Care Act alongside NHS colleagues. Managers are responsible for line management and support of social care staff only.
Cheshire West has awarded our AMHPs an AMHP supplement of £ per year, paid on top of their salary on a pro-rata basis until March.

We seek dedicated, motivated team players to join us as AMHPs working in line with the Mental Health Act. Our AMHPs support people by promoting the least restrictive approach to mental health recovery.
You will have the opportunity to:

You will have:
* Experience managing high-risk, complex adult safeguarding cases
* Experience working in a mental health team and understanding relevant legislation
* An enhanced DBS check and Adults Barred List clearance (Essential)
* Understanding of services for people with mental health needs
* Effective communication skills with customers, carers, and families
* The ability to adapt positively to change and promote positive outcomes
* Awareness of the importance of multidisciplinary working
* Assessment and support planning skills in line with legislation
* A self-motivated attitude and passion for adult social care
* Resilience and effective stress management skills
