User Researcher - Major Sport Website and Mobile Apps
6 week contract
We are seeking a UX Researcher who will work as part of a team to deliver on the new digital transformation programme for one of our major tennis clients. You will play a key role in ensuring the right decisions are being made and be the official voice of the fan and how they interact with the new digital web and application platforms. Ensuring designs and features are validated through insights from qualitative and quantitative data.
You will be responsible for delivery and analysis of a range of activities, working alongside our Lead UX Researcher who has set up the road map of research activities for the 6 week period. You will be driving forward the insights through analysing user research activities. These will include:
* Conducting and analysing diary studies
* Conducting user testing and running user testing sessions
* IA focused tasks - such as card sorting and tree testing
* Prototype validation against core user needs and journeys
* Feature testing and validation
* Quantitative research such as competitor benchmarking & analysis
* Report generation with focused analysis and recommendations
You will be working alongside a team of Product Designers, Product Managers, Project Managers & Engineers and supported by our Creative Director. You will become part of the project squads to ensure you are immersed in the product and the KPIs set against the delivery.
The role will be primarily focused on ensuring the validation of ideas, approaches and concepts delivered against the fans' needs.
The successful candidate will be a confident self-starter and able to drive forward the value that insights bring to these projects. We are seeking someone able to bring actions but also have the ability to steer and implement best practices that drive the highest value.
