4. Ability to engage, influence and collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and external agencies.
Main duties of the job
1. Lead the design and construction elements of the Hinchingbrooke Hospital Redevelopment Programme (HHRP).
2. Drive procurement strategies, ensuring best value for money.
3. Oversee the integration of cutting-edge digital and sustainable design.
4. Build and manage project teams, ensuring alignment with NHS and government regulations.

1. Professional knowledge acquired through degree, leadership/management qualification or equivalent experience
2. PRINCE 2 Practitioner Level
3. HM Treasury Better Business case training
Desirable criteria
1. Construction qualification
2. Membership of relevant professional body or chartered status.
Experience
Essential criteria
1. Significant experience within the Healthcare sector at senior manager level including responsibility for strategic projects and programmes of change
2. Experience of leading and managing programmes, with considerable experience managing large capital schemes in the healthcare sector
3. Experience of business case development for large or complex capital projects and of the work streams including Clinical Strategy, Workforce, IT and Estates
Desirable criteria
1. Considerable project management experience of large capital schemes in the healthcare sector
2. General working knowledge of NHS business case process and approvals.
