Grade 2: £24,027 - £25,992 pro rata for term time only & part time hours.
Consultation grade - subject to formal evaluation under the Pay Equity Review.
We are a Living Wage Employer, and all our roles will be paid as such where the pay scales are below the Living Wage rate.
Working 32.5 hours per week term time only: Monday - Friday Approx. 8am to 2.30pm plus 3 days in the school holiday for cleaning & training.

Cityserve is the Birmingham City Council multi award-winning catering service for school meals providing fresh and nutritious food for school kitchens across the UK. Healthy eating is a continuous theme throughout all our menus, and we are committed to the well-being of pupils. Responsibilities:
1. Delivery of daily staff briefings.
2. Management of all food & non-food orders via an online computer system.
3. Preparing, cooking & serving all meals for pupils.
4. Ensuring all food and health and safety regulations are followed.
5. Managing rotas and work routines for the staff.
6. Weekly/monthly online payroll submissions.
7. Staff training.
8. Management of attendance.
9. Managing employees' breaches of Birmingham City Council's Code of Conduct.
Essential Criteria:
* Experience in cooking on a large scale.
* Ability to work collaboratively with school staff to ensure the first-class delivery of food in school kitchens.
* Sound knowledge of nutritional standards in school food.
* Good people skills.
* Passion for food and customer service.
* Great team player.
* Good verbal and written communication skills.
* Computer literate.
* Hold Intermediate Food Hygiene Qualification.
