We are looking for a passionate part-qualified Accountant to join our growing team. Our Corporate team is based in Windsor, but we have offices in London, New York, Toronto and Norway. This role will be assisting with the day-to-day operations of the finance team. It is a fantastic opportunity to learn alongside your studies. Responsibilities include : Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual Accounts: · Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and year-end accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely submission. · Support the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis. Financial Reporting: · Assist in the production of financial reports for management and stakeholders. · Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and company policies. Expense Management: · Review submissions expenses, ensuring adherence to company policies. Taxation and Compliance: · Assist in Preparing VAT returns, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. · Provide support for other statutory returns as required. Asset Management: · Maintain and update the fixed asset register, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting. Transactional Processing: · Assist in day-to-day transactional processing, including purchase ledger, sales ledger, invoicing and credit control activities. · Ensure cash reconciliation of accounts. Audit and Compliance: · Assist in responding to queries and data requests for the year-end financial audits. · Ensure adherence to Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) rules and regulations. Team Support and Collaboration: · Work closely with other members of the finance team and other departments to support business operations. · Provide mentoring and guidance to junior team members where applicable. Requirements Qualifications and Education requirements · 2-3 years professional experience, preferably within the service industry or at an accounting practice. · Currently studying toward ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent qualification. · Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations. · Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. · Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. · Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. · High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
