Salary: Up to £38K (DOE)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM

Mechanic / Vehicle Technician - The Role
As a Mechanic / Vehicle Technician, you'll be responsible for carrying out a wide range of vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, and repair work on modern cars.
Key Responsibilities;
Perform servicing, maintenance, and repairs on light vehicles
Diagnose and repair minor and major vehicle faults
Replace timing belts and clutches
Use diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve issues
Test drive vehicles after repairs to ensure roadworthiness
Provide clear, professional explanations of vehicle conditions to customers
Keep accurate records of work completed and maintain job cards
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment
About You - What We're Looking For
Key Skills & Experience;
We're looking for a highly skilled, enthusiastic, and reliable mechanic who is passionate about cars and committed to delivering top-tier service.
Must Have:
Minimum 5 years' experience in vehicle maintenance & repair
A full UK driving licence
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Good timekeeping and organisational skills
Your own tools
Desirable:
Experience working with timing belts & clutches
Previous experience using Hunter four-wheel alignment systems
