Are you looking for a varied role where no two days are the same? Do you enjoy meeting interesting people from various walks of life on a daily basis? If so, a fantastic opportunity has arisen for Neighbourhood Clinical Assistants to join our Integrated Neighbourhood Team based in Wetherby. The service is at the heart of the NHS long term plan to provide more care in community settings, such as in patients homes, whilst enabling early discharge from hospital and reducing hospital admissions. When you join us, we will work with you to develop your own personal development plan. We are proud of our career progression, supporting you to undertake specific training and offering apprenticeships to help you develop. You will work within a multidisciplinary team alongside nurses, therapists and self management facilitators to provide the highest standard of care. You will need to assess and respond to the changing needs of the patient, working within your own limits and seeking support from the wider clinical team where appropriate. You will undertake tasks such as administering medicine, wound care, catheter care and patient observations. You must have excellent communication, organisational and IT skills. Please note this role does require a full Driving licence and use of your own vehicle which is essential to this job role. The service runs from 7am to 10pm every day with various shift patterns, and we offer flexible work opportunities.
