About the role:
Responsible for identifying and securing opportunities globally, working in conjunction with, and providing support to the Management Team. Providing support in creating an overall vision of how the business model can increase company growth. Build and maintain strong, long-term & strategic relationships with customers within the renewables sector to maximize brand awareness and exposure.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Develop business opportunities with new and existing customers.
2. Work collaboratively across the business to ensure engaging in relevant conversations with key accounts.
3. Align strategic client management plans in collaboration with the Bids & Tendering Department.
4. Work closely with the Bids Department to manage ongoing pipeline of opportunities.
5. Manage and develop growth strategies to support ongoing engagement with customers, potential leads, and contract negotiations.
6. Oversee and implement CRM system to monitor and improve customer engagement, increase productivity, and support the sales process.
7. Undertake regular client/supplier relationship reviews for feedback and improvement opportunities.
8. Plan and implement lead-generating marketing campaigns.
9. Coordinate with the Marketing Manager to develop targeted marketing strategies.
10. Identify and monitor competitors, research market conditions.
11. Identify emerging markets and develop strategies for early penetration.
12. Monitor global news in the renewable energy sector for new opportunities.
13. Identify and attend relevant international exhibitions.
14. Manage key relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, and resource providers.
15. Work to strict deadlines and KPIs.
Additional Responsibilities:
Represent the business at domestic and international forums and events. Potentially develop specific technical/product knowledge.
About you:
* Strong organizational, leadership, and time management skills.
* Ability to build relationships and lead teams and cross-business engagement.
* Professional recognized qualifications (Post Graduate Degree).
* Hands-on project and/or industry experience is desirable.
* Knowledge of Fibre Optic and HV termination and testing, cable laying, pulling, and rigging operations is desirable.
* Background in renewables, Electrical Engineering, and Windfarms is preferred.
