The Role We are looking for our next teammate to help us on this journey Our Delivery Operations Leader will play a crucial role in the success of the practice and be an advocate of exceptionally high-quality service delivery to our customers. As a Delivery Operations Leader, you'll lead a high performing engineering and service team of Data Operations engineers as part of Datatonic's market leading Managed Services practice. Responsibilities Leadership of the Data Operations Managers and the Engineering teams, promoting growth and continuous personal development Work with the Head of Managed Services on the strategic objectives of the Data Operations team Responsible for the development and evolution of the services portfolio Accountable for build out and ownership of the delivery processes (Ticket Management, MI, Reporting) Pre-sales support to scope and respond to opportunities Promote growth and continuous development of engineering teams Workload management (shifts, rota, workload prioritisation) Ownership of relationship with delivery partners to ensure delivery excellence and seamless integration with service Implementing best practices and ways of working with consulting/professional services teams Development and ownership of knowledge base (Customer documentation, Runbooks, SOPs) Requirements Strong commercial awareness of Data Managed Services solutions, particularly with scoping and pitching to large enterprise customers including pricing, contracts and proposals Experience managing across relationships across internal and external customers, stakeholders and executives Experience in providing direct and indirect management for multiple teams of managers and experienced individual contributors Ability to work on resolving and anticipating complex issues that might impact multiple stakeholders
