Payroll Officer | Antrim | Fixed Term Contract
Salary: negotiable and dependent on experience
Employment: 9-month FTC, full-time, office-based opportunity
Hours of work: 8.30am to 5pm and 2.30pm on Friday
Reed Accountancy is delighted to be working with an established and reputable manufacturing client in the Antrim area in the recruitment of a Payroll Administrator to join their dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Accurately and promptly handle various payrolls, adhering to internal policies, legal requirements, best practices, and both national and local employment terms.
* Manage both weekly and monthly payrolls for ROI and NI.
* Verify and enter data to ensure precise payroll payments.
* Stay updated on HMRC, PAYE, and payroll process guidelines and regulations.
* Address queries via email, phone, and in person.
* Provide payroll data to senior management.
* Ensure compliance with filing, retention, and disposal procedures.
* Coordinate with third parties, including HMRC.
* Handle purchase ledger tasks.
* Process New Starters and Leavers
What you’ll need to succeed:
* Experience : A minimum of 2 years’ experience in payroll processing.
* Qualifications : Possess 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above (or equivalent) including English Language and Mathematics.
* Skills : Experience with Microsoft Office to include Excel, Accounting Software such as Sage, and processing remuneration payments
