Denholm are delighted to be partnering exclusively with our brilliant financial services client in the search for a Senior Project Manager (MI / Reporting) on a contract basis.
* This role is a day rate role (Inside IR35), initially for 12 months.
* You need to be able to start 1st April 2025.
* This role is primarily remote working, but will require 2 days on client site per month.
This role requires someone from a financial services background, ideally with some experience within retail banking. It is essential you have delivered large scale, complex MI / Reporting projects.
Key skills and knowledge:
* Experience of large transformation within the UK Financial Services.
* Experience of large scale MI, reporting projects.
* Ability to lead end to end project delivery, manage cross functional teams and act as point of contact for stakeholders including Senior Management.
* Proven ability to develop detailed project plans, monitor and report on project progress ensuring adherence to deadlines.
* Ability to manage risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies to ensure a successful outcome.
* Strong experience working and collaborating with business and IT stakeholders.
* Experience working with 3rd party suppliers.
* Ability to facilitate workshops, resolve conflicts and drive decision making.
* Experience collaborating with risk and compliance to ensure projects meet risk and audit requirements.
* Experience using collaboration tools such as Confluence, JIRA and Microsoft Tools including MS Project.
* Knowledge of key business functions e.g. Credit Risk, Payments, AML, Operations is advantageous.
* Knowledge of UK Regulations FCA, PRA and GDPR is advantageous.
