About the Role:
The Dynamics CE Solution Architect is a core team member of KPMG customer delivery of Microsoft Dynamics 365 cantered solutions. The CE Solution Architect should have extensive experience across all phases of enterprise Dynamics CE projects. A demonstrable history of consultancy experience is a must as this role will entail continuous interaction with clients, managing onshore consultants, working alongside both onshore and offshore development teams. This role will also require a level of presales activities focused on Dynamics CE functionality, Power Platform, and the wider Microsoft platform. You will also contribute to proposal development and provide input in business development whilst leading and mentoring more junior staff.
This role is an important element of KPMG Microsoft Business Solutions’ delivery of Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE projects. It is a dynamic and exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing business area within an established and market-leading global Big 4 firm.
Responsibilities:
1. Contribute to the delivery of high-quality business and software solutions to our clients using your knowledge of Dynamics 365 CE functional capabilities working closely with client teams and business stakeholders
2. Lead, organise, manage, and document workshops, meetings and requirements sessions with the client representatives, project stakeholders and delivery team(s)
3. Ownership for the delivery of high-quality business and software solutions to our clients using their deep understanding of Dynamics 365 CE functional capabilities
4. Ownership of gathering and documentation of functional requirements and complete gap/fit analysis for workstream
5. Be responsible for ensuring our pre-sales engagements are delivered with the same rigour and attention to detail as our client engagements
6. Interface effectively with other members of the delivery team and the solution Architect to ensure that the Power Platforms solution meets client’s requirements
7. Strong contribution to the wider CE practice by defining training needs within the team and coaching or mentoring other team members
8. Identify business/project risk and mitigate or communicate as necessary
9. Deliver high quality business and software solutions and services to clients ensuring the implementation of best practices based on Microsoft Dynamics standards and supported configuration/customisations
10. The creation of high quality and sustainable client solutions and project documentation including support for testing activities
11. Deliver all consultancy and configuration work according to KPMG project methodology, ensuring that all software applications are implemented successfully according to the project plan: on time and on budget
12. Contribute to Pre-Sales activities as required including building demo and proof of concept solutions for various client presentations
13. Delivery of end-user training to clients and colleagues where applicable
14. Meet and exceed customer expectations of business knowledge, skills, and behaviour
15. Identify business/project risks and mitigate or communicate as necessary
16. Advise client and delivery team members of scope (creep) and use of change control processes
17. Provide on-site support and assistance throughout delivery and go-live phases of project to client and more junior team members
18. Communicate progress updates to relevant parties both formally and informally
19. Support practice development activities such as defining and configuring industry specific solutions
20. Leads people and helps to grow them in their role
21. Performance management of two or more junior members of product team
22. In all activities, ensure timely completion of internal processes and mandatory training

Qualifications and Essential Skills:
25. Extensive experience as a CRM Consultant with largescale complex implementations, deep knowledge of technical capabilities of Dynamics 365, including appropriate certification. Must be able to show good knowledge of practices for Dynamics 365
26. Deep understanding of Azure and cloud technologies, .Net development and PowerBI.
27. Deeper understanding of the broader Microsoft stack and be able to leverage it to create powerful solutions (PowerApps, Power BI, Data Verse, Azure, Office 365) and working in fast paced Agile environments.
28. Ability to clearly articulate and present your ideas and solutions in line with the capabilities of Microsoft Dynamics 365.
29. Successfully translate business and customer needs into a great digital customer experience.
30. Good understanding of Microsoft Dynamics Power Platforms Accelerators, industry templates and add-ons
31. Leading and mentoring junior team members
32. Willingness to develop your knowledge of new functionality in the Microsoft platforms, keeping on top of roadmaps, studying for certifications to ensure we help deliver best solutions to our clients
33. Knowledge of best practices for working with offshore teams
34. Microsoft Dynamics CRM Certifications, ideally most current versions are desirable
35. Preferably a University graduate with relevant degree within a computing or business discipline

Experience and Background:
47. Extensive experience as a CRM Solution Architect leading enterprise implementation, deep and broad knowledge of technical capabilities of Dynamics 365.
48. Must be able to show good knowledge of practices for Dynamics 365Experience in a delivery-orientated IT environment using waterfall and agile methodologies.
49. Experience with Dynamics 365 in a Lead Design Consulting role
50. Deep understanding of software development lifecycle, development management, release management, data migrations, cut-over planning, and early live support
51. Business process mapping, modelling and documentation knowledge
52. Experience of leading and leading others in Practice improvement initiatives
53. Awareness of technical capabilities of Dynamics 365
54. Minimum 10 plus years hands-on proven functional experience in Power Platforms configuration, standard customisation, standard workflows, dashboards, flows, forms, views, and standard reports development
55. Proven ability to develop a clear understanding of clients’ needs and incorporate them into a solution
