Shop Assistant
Derwentsite Immigration Removal Centre
Salary
- £25,053.83 per annum plus Serco BenefitsPermanent, Full Time, 40 hours per week.
The shop assistant will provide secure, effective, and efficient shop services within Derwentside IRC. The shop assistant will supply a service to residents and colleagues with a customer focused approach.
At the heart of our work is the emotional and practical support we offer to residents in our Centre. We have positive relationships with colleagues in a broad range of statutory and voluntary organisations both in County Durham and nationally, and work with them to deliver services which mirror those in the community in areas such as health and wellbeing.
Main Accountabilities:
- To provide a service to residents and colleagues with a customer focused approach.
- To ensure supply and demand is managed effectively.
- To ensure stock is maintained, recorded and monitored.
- To perform any other reasonable duties as instructed by the management team.
- To complete all training that is a mandatory requirement.
What you will need to do the role
Qualifications:
- Literacy and Numeracy Level 2
Technical:
- Excellent computer and typing skills inclusive of Microsoft Word and Excel
Knowledge & Skills:
- Stock rotation.
- Excellent Communication skills.
