Senior Finance Manager - North Leeds/Bradford - Hybrid

I am delighted to exclusively bring to market this brand new opportunity for 2025, to join a fast-growing, evolving, and exciting PE backed SME based in North Leeds/Bradford.
You will join a very talented, ambitious newly appointed senior finance team and report directly to the Group FC, overseeing a small team.
The role will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end accounting team operations, month-end management accounts, board pack preparation, balance sheet reconciliations, and identifying opportunities to improve procedures & controls.
The business is looking for a "high flyer" who has energy, drive, and the ambition to progress into an FC role within the next 2 years!
Reporting to the Group FC, the key duties will include:
1. Manage the financial reporting team of 3 and coordinate the month-end close process, ensuring timely & accurate internal reporting.
2. Assist in improving the Finance month-end process efficiency and controls through automation and optimizing usage of systems.
3. Responsible for balance sheet reconciliations.
4. Responsible for change management within the Reporting team and input/involvement with wider finance change priorities.
5. Conduct detailed monthly variance analysis to understand drivers and input into the production of the monthly Finance board pack.
6. Work with Ops and FP&A to understand monthly performance and business drivers.
7. Assist with the production of the monthly cashflow statement and weekly 90-day rolling cashflow forecast.
8. Oversee all regulatory submissions including HMRC returns and payments.
9. Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company.
10. Significant involvement in year-end audit preparation and liaising with auditors.
11. Provide additional financial information to the business as needed and complete ad-hoc financial and business projects.
The successful candidate will:
1. Be ACA/ACCA qualified with 2 years+ PQE, with a Top 10 background - Essential.
2. Have a minimum of 2 years experience working in a similar position with reporting experience - Essential.
3. Experience working in a similar size PE backed business - Desirable.
4. Knowledge of Microsoft NAV - Desirable.
