What we expect from you -

The job -
* Deal with all meeting and event enquires
* Be responsible for updating S&C with accurate and relevant information as well as producing any reports that are required in order to measure progress and opportunity
* Review business plans, identify gaps and ensure proactive efforts to fill capacity and meet set targets
* Contribute to the selling strategy of the hotel, and manage the departments' adherence to achieving that strategy
* Understand the competitive market place and implement approaches to ensure the hotel stays ahead in the local market
* Ensure the function sheets are distributed to the relevant departments in a timely manner, paying particular attention to the content detail
* Daily conference billing
* Manage all brochure requests, information and relevant details requested by clients
* Attend weekly revenue and operations meetings, ensuring all relevant figures are up to date
* Deal with complaints in a friendly and efficient manner ensuring guest satisfaction at all
* Be familiar with our sister hotels where cross-selling opportunities exist and ensure leads are forwarded on and followed up
* Being aware of potential highs and lows in the business and planning for
* Identifying, communicating and actioning all sales
* Complete monthly sales and statistical reports
* Being aware of VIPs and show rounds, communicating this to the teams.
