We are currently looking for a Post Office Counter Clerk for the following office:
Unit 3, Victoria Centre, Crewe, CW1 2PU.
Experience of working within a Post Office is preferred but not essential.
This position would be well suited for candidates that have worked in sectors such as the travel or banking industry. If you have worked at a bank or a travel exchange your skills would be transferrable to this role.
Typically a Post Office Clerk compromises of a blend of travel and banking products which are sold to customers in every town and city in the UK, along with handling posting. With a number of banks closing down the high street branches customers now look to the Post Office to replace their services which means our staff must be able to deal with an array of responsibilities.
This role is a customer facing role therefore excellent customer services are essential.
We ask for the applicant to have a reasonable set of skills that include:
* Adaptability
* Money handling
* Retail experience
* Customer relations experience
* Stock management experience
* Knowledge of different aspects of travel currency
* A clear check DBS check is necessary
* Training will be provided
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary, Contract
Pay: £11.44 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 30 per week
