Senior Finance Officer
My client is a Local Authority in West Yorkshire who are looking to appoint a talented Senior Finance Officer on an Interim basis.
About the role:
Based in West Yorkshire, the role is to support the Finance Team and promote the delivery of an excellent service to customers. To communicate in an informed, confident, polite and understanding manner with all clients and customers.
What's on offer:
* Salary: £250-£350 per day, inside IR35.
*negotiable based on experience

* Remote/Hybrid working. Contract type: Contract (37 hrs a week)
* Hours: 09:00 - 17:30 Monday to Friday
Responsibilities:
1. Listen to service customers and provide timely information and advice, offering solutions as required.
2. Ensure that all budgeting and year-end accounting procedures are complied with, including the operation of financial policies and controls, Financial Regulations and Standing Orders.
3. Support service areas and budget holders by providing a comprehensive financial support service which will include budget profiling and forecasting with links to performance management information.
About you:
You will have the following experiences:
* CCAB or part qualified.
* Understanding of local government finance.
* Evidence of analysis of public sector accounts or preparation of year-end accounts.
