A well-respected Preston-based company is recruiting for an experienced Credit Controller/Accounts Assistant.
As a seasoned Credit Controller/Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for your own ledger and be used to working on your own initiative.
Duties as Credit Controller will include:
1. Chasing debt via telephone, letter, and email
2. Setting up new accounts
3. Assisting in maintaining credit limits and assessing the risks of existing customers
4. Managing bad debts including liaison with debt collection agencies and solicitors
5. Resolving a wide range of internal and external queries
6. General administration duties
The ideal Credit Controller/Accounts Assistant will be:
1. Have excellent telephone and customer service skills
2. AAT Level 3 or training towards it
3. Have effective organisational skills
4. Able to prioritise workload and manage own time effectively
5. Enjoy working equally on your own initiative or within a team
Currently, the accounts team are home working, and going forward, this will continue with the option to work in the office on a part-time basis.
