R&M Business Intelligence Analyst Location: Ashington Contract: Permanent Hours: 37 per week Monday to Friday Salary: £30,754 per annum Closing Date: Thursday 7th November 2024 Interviews are expected to be held weeks commencing 11th and 18th November 2024. Do you enjoy creating actionable insight to support data led decision making via data visualisation tools such as tableau or Power BI. If so, then our new R&M Business Intelligence Analyst post is for you About the role: Provide actionable insight to support continuous improvement of products, services and cost management and clearly demonstrate outcomes that support value for money and mitigate risk. Deliver key performance management information and detailed analysis accurately, on time and in full, narrating trends and key insights to assist service delivery. Collaborate with the Data & Business Intelligence Team in the development of reporting dashboards, templates and metrics. Support the R&M team to maintain and improve data quality by ensuring agreed processes are robustly followed in their day-to-day roles updating the various core systems, ensuring data is input accurately to allow for timely reporting. Create a strong data governance culture across the R&M team About you: You’ll need: Proven experience working with data visualization tools such as Tableau Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Ability to analyse and present data to support forecasting and service improvement activities and plans An understanding of data warehouse management, architecture and maintenance An understanding of data cleansing and transferring data between systems Strong focus on data governance and quality Good interpersonal skills to understand staff requirements and translate these into appropriate outputs Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
