Job summary
We are looking for experienced and committed Support Workers and Healthcare Assistants with an interactive approach, who are eager to enhance their skills in the complex care sector. While prior complex care experience is beneficial, it is not a requirement as full bespoke clinical training will be provided.

Our service user is a sociable young lady in her 20s who lives with her loving family in Durham and requires support with her complex care needs throughout the day and night.
A key aspect of this role involves being out in the community with our service user, enjoying their hobbies, interests and accessing her favourite social activities. This includes, going bowling, visiting the cinema, Theatre, and watching her favourite pantomimes.
She loves to spend quality time with her family and care team, and at home particularly enjoys watching her favourite programmes and exploring various Arts and Crafts activities.
Throughout the day you will provide support with her personal care, moving and handling, attend to her clinical needs when required and assist her to enjoy her hobbies and interests.
Throughout the night you will be required to assist with her personal care, repositioning, close observations of her clinical needs and attending to her needs when required. You will offer reassurance and comfort and provide a peaceful environment to promote a restful nights sleep.
Main duties of the job
It is important to understand her methods of communication and identify her wants and needs, our service user is non-verbal and communicates using body language and gestures. Patience and understanding area key qualities for this role.
Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team.
We have the following Shifts Available
1. Part Time Days & Nights Available
2. Days- 8:00am - 4:00pm 2 shifts per week
3. Nights- 10:00pm- 6:00am

Weekdays: £ per hour. (Approx. £104 per 8-hour shift)
Weeknights: £ per hour. (Approx. £112 per 8-hour shift)
Weekends: £ per hour. (Approx. £116 per 8-hour shift)
Bank Holidays: £ per hour. Approx. (£128 per 8-hour shift)

Job responsibilities
The role of a Healthcare Assistant (HCA) is to work without direct supervision in the home of the service user providing care and support including personal, social, and domestic support whilst adhering to the service users individual care and support plan.
The aim of the position is to enable service users to remain safely in their own home with as much independence as possible.
Alongside providing care and support in a professional, discreet, and caring manner, always ensuring the service users right to privacy and dignity is maintained
