Salary: £46,464 - £51,515 per annum (pay award pending)
What are we looking for?
We are looking to recruit a lead therapist with our Family Safeguarding Mental Health Team.
As the lead therapist, you will lead a team of practitioners in developing psychological interventions and formulation alongside providing supervision for a team of therapists.
You will be responsible for the delivery of psychological and/or systemic interventions with parents and carers within Walsall both on a 1-2-1 basis and within groups. You will work with adults with significant and complex needs, with specific focus on engaging with parents in relation to their mental health and well-being whilst engaging with the wider social care system involved with the family.
About you:
You will be responsible for clinical provision including assessment, formulation, and time-limited evidence-based interventions within the Family safeguarding mental health team.
As lead therapist, you will provide supervision for a team of therapists whilst providing expert advice to support formulation and intervention plans for parents across the borough.
You will be required to identify the most appropriate form of mental health/psychological intervention for individuals to develop bespoke interventions to parents based on parental mental health need, informed by professional knowledge and practice skills relating to therapeutic intervention models (such as trauma-informed CBT, DBT, EMDR, functional therapy, systemic family therapy).
We are looking to recruit people with relevant experience and qualification in delivering therapeutic interventions across a range of specialisms to include but not exclusively trauma-informed CBT, DBT, EMDR, functional family therapy, systemic family therapy.
