The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to work closely with students, providing tailored support to help them overcome challenges and succeed in their learning journey. This is a rewarding role where you'll make a real difference in the lives of young people.
Key Responsibilities
- Support students with SEN in accessing the curriculum, adapting resources as needed.
- Work one-to-one and in small groups to build confidence and foster independent learning.
- Collaborate with teachers and SENCo to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- Promote an inclusive and supportive environment where all students feel valued.
- Monitor and report on student progress to help refine strategies for success.
About You
- Experience working with students with SEN, ideally in a secondary school setting.
- A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting young people.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, staff, and parents.
- A commitment to fostering an inclusive and positive learning environment.
