About the Role:We are seeking a passionate and experienced History Teacher on behalf of a well-respected SEN secondary school in Bolton. This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed educator to join a supportive team and make a significant impact on students' lives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging history lessons tailored to the needs of SEN students.
* Develop and implement individualised education plans (IEPs) to support student learning and progress.
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and colleagues.
* Collaborate with other staff members to support the overall development and well-being of students.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* A degree in History or a related field.
* Experience teaching history at the secondary school level, preferably within an SEN setting.
* Strong understanding of SEN and experience in adapting teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
