The HR Advisor / ER Specialist is responsible for the management of Employee Relations Cases supporting Managers and individuals in the policy and process to deliver a professional and legally safe HR service.
The HR Advisor will be responsible for:
1. Ensuring that standards and objectives for the Employee Relations service are met and are consistent with policy, best practice and employment law.
2. Being part of the upskilling of line managers by creating and delivering briefing sessions for line managers on HR policies and processes.
3. Working with staff side colleagues to ensure that there is a shared understanding of policies and procedures across the organisation.
4. Being a working member of the job evaluation process and panels as required.
5. Supporting all staff and managers with dignity regardless of the case, supporting individuals from the point of raising a concern and opening a formal case right up to exits (including dismissals and retirements).
What you'll need to succeed:
1. CIPD Level 5
2. Strong ER case management experience
3. Ideally NHS or public sector experience
