Job Title: SEN Tutor Location: England, South East England, Oxfordshire Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Secondary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £25 - £30 Per hour Job Duties: Provide tailored teaching and support to students with special educational needs (SEN) Create individualised learning plans based on students' needs and abilities Deliver engaging lessons and activities to enhance students' academic and social development Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure holistic support for students Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Experience working with students with SEN Knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Experience: At least 2 years of experience working in a teaching or tutoring role with SEN students Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of SEN codes of practise and legislation Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs Strong organisational and time management abilities Preferred Qualifications: Additional training in specific SEN areas such as autism or dyslexia Experience with assistive technology for SEN students Working Conditions: Work in a classroom or one-on-one setting with students; may require travel to different locations within Oxfordshire; flexible hours based on students' schedules All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
