Responsibilities
Assist the Team Manager in the operational management of social care services.
Support and supervise a team of social care professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
Manage and oversee complex casework, conducting assessments and reviews.
Implement policies and practices that align with statutory regulations and best practices.
Foster strong working relationships with service users, families, and external agencies.
Participate in workforce development and training initiatives for team members.
Contribute to performance monitoring activities and ensure continuous improvement measures are in place.
Requirements
A relevant qualification in Social Work or equivalent.
Significant experience in social care, ideally in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
Strong knowledge of social care legislation and policy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex casework and provide effective supervision.
Experience in staff development, including mentoring and training.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritize workloads effectively.
Hours Per Week: 30.00
Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Hour: £22.03
Location: Bath, Bath & N E Somerset
