Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
* Accurately and efficiently operate complex machinery.
* Meet production fulfilment needs of internal and external customers.
* Maintain high standards of company etiquette and codes of conduct.
* Contribute to a manufacturing process that is safe, efficient, and sanitary.
* Verify that safety equipment on machinery is functional prior to operation.
* Follow production instructions, either written or verbal, as necessary.
* Set up and perform minor calibrations on machinery, as needed.
* Operate machinery in a manner that is safe for yourself and others.
* Perform inspections of machinery to ensure efficient operation and production.
* Maintain high quality of products as produced through machinery.
* Ensure performance against the skills criteria.
Requirements:
You will be focused on performance and accuracy, naturally confident and self-motivated with a can-do attitude. You can maintain housekeeping standards, help drive improvements and build relationships within the wider manufacturing department. Experience is preferred but not a necessity as full intensive training will be provided.
