Sainsburys, Tesco, Waitrose, Morrisons... All of these brands have one thing in common - they all sit within the world of FMCG. As Senior National Account Manager, you will take full responsibility for one of our clients' most integral accounts.
This business is fully focused on creating an environment where their staff flourish and are empowered - the longevity within their workforce is second to none. You'd be able to speak to many people working there who will be able to tell you their stories of development, promotions, and rewards.
Due to tremendous growth on one of our client's integral accounts, this has in turn created this new, exciting Senior National Account Manager role. Working closely with the head of commercial, you will be given the autonomy to create and deliver your business plan for your larger categories, circa 100 million sales. The ideal candidate will already be a proven National Account Manager with strong FMCG industry experience. You will be a motivated, inquisitive self-starter with the drive and capability to continue to drive growth. This role is home, customer, and office-based (two days a week in the office in Ipswich).
As an exceptional salesperson, you will possess:
* Strong people management skills focused on workplace communication, trust, patience, and performance.
* The ability to create selling stories including the use of category and consumer insight.
* Confidence in your negotiation and relationship-building skills.
* FMCG experience ideally 2 years+ (including exposure supplying to the top 4 retailers).
