We seek a Senior Cyber Security Analyst to be responsible for maintaining SecOps (Security Operations) solutions, controls and processes across the organisation. This role requires a deep understanding of SecOps concepts, technologies, and best practices, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and will be committed to ensuring the highest level of security, compliance, and user experience.
What you will be doing as a Senior Cyber Security Analyst
1. Investigate security alerts from our SIEM tool and provide appropriate incident response actions.
2. Liaise with technology and business stakeholders in relation to cyber security issues/incidents providing clear descriptions and actions.
3. Support the Cyber Security Operations Lead for security and privacy incidents, triaging events and performing root cause analysis to understand how incidents arise. There is a need to be on call.
4. Monitor, analyse and optimise SecOps tool performance (e.g. SIEM), identify potential issues, and recommend and implement proactive solutions.
5. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and implementing security controls that are proportionate to the risk.
6. Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously improve security operations.

Essential Experience
10. Extensive experience in a technical Cyber Security or IT role, preferably in an enterprise environment
11. Exposure to working with a security operations centre (SOC) or similar environment.
12. Triaging problems or issues in a structured and disciplined manner
13. Experience in remediating cyber risks in ever-changing digital environments
14. Strong knowledge of Multi-factor authentication (MFA), Privileged Access Management (PAM) and Security Information & Event Management (SIEM)
15. Good understanding of IT, networking, and end-user computing
Desirable Experience
16. Familiarity with managing network security capabilities such as NAC (Network Access Control), Firewalls, Proxies/VPN, IDS/IPS, etc.
17. Experience writing Kusto Query Language (KQL) for Sentinel queries and alerts.
18. Degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
19. Microsoft SecOps specific certification(s) e.g. Microsoft Security Operations Analyst (SC-200)
20. Hands-on experience utilising and configuring Microsoft Security Operations tools such as Sentinel and Defender.
21. Any generic cyber security industry certification(s) such as CISSP, CISM, or CCSP.
