Corporate Tax Director, Edinburgh/Glasgow up to £95,000, Hybrid Working

This role is all about…
1. Assisting the Tax Partners with more complex corporate and shareholder advisory assignments.
2. Typical projects the advisory team have been involved in recently: group de-mergers, the sale of shares to Employee Ownership Trust and set up of an EMI scheme, EIS and SEIS advice and HMRC clearance, Expert Witness Reports; Company Purchase of Own Shares- Non-Statutory Clearance; Exit Planning- MBO with deferred consideration and statutory clearances.
3. You will coach the tax team to be able to undertake complex research and advisory projects and to oversee the delivery of these projects.
About you.
4. A self-starter with developed communication skills, personal gravitas and ambition to progress
5. CA/ACCA and/or CTA qualified.
6. Excellent research skills, technical knowledge and experience of complex shareholder and corporate advisory projects.
7. Experience of coaching and training junior team members. The role will involve reviewing (and in some instances writing) reports and you should have the ability to explain complex advice and legislation in an easy-to-follow manner.
8. You must have a commercial focus and be able to scope advice and be able to manage the billing process on your clients.
