About you You will be energetic, innovative, and keen to get stuck into the strategic and day-to-day operations of the role You value relationships and truly care about the people within our business You enjoy working in a collaborative and fun department About the role Joining a great team of four Business Partners, supported by HR Business Support Officers, you will: Act as a trusted advisor on all people related matters by providing coaching, guidance, advice and assistance to People Leaders and employees on HR issues and initiatives within your portfolio of departments Build and foster relationships across all levels Lead recruitment and selection, performance management, industrial relations and other employment relations activities Provide strategic advice on organisational structures and models, including job requirements, position descriptions and organisational changes Provide leadership and coaching to your direct report Contribute to strategic policy development and special projects, as required This position is temporary full-time available for a period up to July 2026. If you enjoy a challenging, multi-faceted role and the opportunity to apply your skills and knowledge in a diverse and growing organisation, we would love to hear from you Essential Criteria A tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a relevant field A successful record in generalist business partnering within a large and diverse organisation Demonstrated experience in performance management Experience in providing coaching to managers and supervisors Strong stakeholder management and relationship skills Desirable Criteria Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of HR matters in a Local Government environment Commencing salary: $103,939.00 - $120,314.00per annum, plus 11.5% Superannuation. You will be required to undertake employment checks, which may include a Criminal History Check, Qualification Check, Working with Children Check, Medical Declaration and/or a Functional Test, as relevant to the position for which you have applied.
