The Role:
Reporting to the General Manager, the Operations Manager will lead a continuous improvement operation/culture that meets the needs of the customer while supporting growth, improving efficiency, and minimizing risk to the business. The role ensures value for money is achieved in all operational expenditure while overseeing and maintaining all health & safety legal requirements.
Role Responsibilities:
1. Stock/Inventory Control: Ensure all SPI's are followed, identify procedural inefficiencies, develop solutions, and implement improvements.
2. Equipment: Maintain all equipment and warehouse assets, ensuring service providers are cost-effective (Saws, Racking, Forklifts, etc.).
3. Production Control: Ensure efficiency of production and quality of goods produced.
4. Customer Service: Identify and resolve delays to service and develop operating practices to support growth.
5. Transportation & Drivers: Ensure company compliance with all transport policies, legislation, and procedures, including Tacos and Drivers Hours. Responsible for compliance of the operator's license and driver training.
6. Health & Safety: Uphold procedures and ongoing training related to health & safety in the workplace.
7. People & Development: Responsible for training and development of the warehouse team.
