Location: West Lothian
Pay rates: Upto £16/hr
We offer part-time and full-time shifts which can be booked through our app or by catching up with your own dedicated consultant.
Randstad is working to support a respite service supporting children with complex learning and physical disabilities. This is a rewarding service to work in, taking children and young people out of their regular routine to relax and enjoy themselves in a safe and nurturing environment. This contract is temporary with the possibility of becoming permanent.

A successful child care support worker will be responsible for:
- Working effectively as part of a team of child care practitioners
- Providing care to children and young people
- Providing personal care to children
- Administering medication
- Promoting a positive parenting role model
- Ensuring professional boundaries are in place
- Maintaining professional manner and working to National Care Standards
To be successful in your application, you will need:
- 6 months of prior experience in The UK working in a residential setting with children and young people aged below 16 years.
- Flexibility in the roles undertaken.
- Strong communication skills.
- Registration under the PVG scheme.
- Full driving license(Required).
- Obtained, or working towards SVQ level 3 and SVQ level 4 in Health and Social Care, or equivalent desirable.
