We are Manchester Local Care Organisation - an exciting, new public sector organisation that is bringing together NHS community health services and social care services in the city.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a 12 month secondment, maternity cover post for leader at Dermot Murphy. We are a 22 bedded CHC funded unit for complex care patients.
The candidate must have experience working on the unit or a similar unit.
Main duties of the job
You will work closely with the MDT (Social Workers, GP’s and Allied Health Professionals) to ensure that patient care is effectively coordinated, demonstrating a positive impact on our patients.
You will enjoy the chance to develop new and existing clinical skills, as well as a range of training opportunities for personal development. We will be looking for proven leadership skills and the ability to work within, lead and develop more junior members of the team, as well as work autonomously.
You will be an excellent communicator who is willing to manage and challenge staff. With patient-centered care as your main focus, you will deliver our values and nurse with pride, respect, empathy, consideration, compassion, and dignity.
