Looking for a new project? WOOD is hiring Electrical & Instrumentation and Control Engineers in Reading & Staines.
Ideal candidates will have experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Nuclear, or other industrial facilities. Concept, Detailed design, or FEED experience.

These positions are specifically for candidates who are currently on a visa - are open to candidates who have industry experience in the above roles, currently live in the UK, and have a current valid visa with a minimum of 12 months before expiry.
The position is also open to candidates who have a Youth Mobility Visa in place.

* Bachelor’s degree within the Electrical Engineering field or a BA in Science with a focus in Electrical Engineering
* Preferable to have experience in design, engineering and construction
* Preferable to have experience in “FEED” projects or “Detailed Design”
* Ideally, the Engineer must be familiar with NEC, IEEE/ANSI, IEC and other International electrical standards, best practices and value practices
* Ideally, be familiar with analogue and Digital Control Systems including Power System Automation (PSA), DCS, PLC and SCADA controls
* Thorough knowledge of the English language is required to perform the necessary in-depth analysis and studies, make professional presentations and keep up with technical advancements
