Faculty Marketing Manager
£40,247 - £45,163 per annum
Full time, 37 hours per week

We are now looking to significantly raise the profile of the transformational education we offer through our courses.
We have two new, highly varied sales and marketing roles that are an exciting blend of high-level strategy and day-to-day delivery of marketing activities to drive up the visibility and appeal of our courses to prospective students. One of the role holders will work with the Faculty of Education and the Arts, and Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, and the other will work with the Faculty of Health and Wellbeing, Faculty of Business and Digital Technologies, and Faculty of Law, Crime and Justice.
As part of a successful team with a strong track record, you will take the lead on planning and delivering targeted, effective, and creative marketing student recruitment campaigns as part of a content-led approach to recruitment and customer relationship management as part of the wider Marketing, Communications & Engagement Department. You will act as a business partner within our academic community to build our programme visibility in existing and new markets, building bespoke Faculty Marketing Plans that dovetail into our institutional strategies and core campaign activities to enhance global recruitment.
You will be a very strong collaborator, capable of working to build relationships with staff at all levels. You will also need to be able to display strategic and results-driven thinking, a passion for planning and be a capable content creator with substantial experience overseeing marketing communications in either higher education or other people-focused sectors.
You will have experience in audience segmentation, producing written and visual assets for strategic sales and marketing purposes and working with customer and product data sources to produce meaningful and actionable insight.
Key goals include raising the profile and reputation of the University locally, nationally, and globally, ensuring the effectiveness, accuracy and quality of all marketing content for the designated Faculty’s subjects and courses, overseeing the development of course content and campaigns across the University’s channels (in particular the University website) in conjunction with the Marketing & Campaigns Team, inclusive of social media and personalised CRM engagement as required.
