Job Overview
As we prepare for a very busy 2025 wedding season, we are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic new member to join our team at Weddings at Nuddock Wood Lake.
This is a hands-on, fast-paced role that involves long hours, weekend work, and requires a positive attitude and friendly, welcoming nature. We're seeking someone who's passionate about the wedding industry and thrives in an environment where no two days are the same. This job would be ideal for someone who knows the industry.
Responsibilities
1. Coordinating weddings and working directly with couples
2. Assisting with breakfast service for our guests
3. Handling reception duties, as we're also a fishing resort
4. Supporting wedding fayres, photoshoots, venue styling, open days, and much more!
This role would ideally suit someone without young children, as it demands flexibility and availability on weekends and during peak wedding times. It's hard work, but if you love all things weddings and enjoy being part of the behind-the-scenes magic, this could be the perfect fit for you!
Ideal Candidate
1. Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills
2. Can multitask effectively and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
3. Has a passion for the wedding industry and a desire to be part of creating dream weddings
4. Availability to work weekends is vital
5. Must be reliable
6. Some experience working in the wedding industry would be beneficial
7. Good IT skills
8. Good with social media
9. Creative
10. Ideally someone fairly local to ensure flexibility for late finishes on Saturdays
Wages will depend on experience and will be discussed at interview. Hours will also be discussed at interview.
