The Birtenshaw Group are looking to appoint an experienced Management Accountant to join the Finance Team based at our Head Office in Bromley Cross, Bolton. Following an initial induction period, this role will become agile, and the appointed candidate will have the option to work from home 2/3 days per week.
Overall Purpose of Job
To deliver the monthly management accounts on time, with detailed commentary and analysis of performance and key issues, in accordance with all internal procedures. This is a key role within the finance function, and will ensure all procedural controls over the financial operations are followed, implemented, and new ones created where necessary.
To be responsible for the day-to-day management, leadership, and motivation of line-managed staff including supporting recruitment, performance review, training, and development.
