About The Role
EKFB is proud to have been appointed by HS2 to deliver civil engineering works across an 80km section of the new high speed rail link between the Chiltern Tunnel and Long Itchington Wood.
We are seeking to recruit a Sub Agent in the Brackley area with extensive Highways experience. You will need to hold a Driving License and have access to a vehicle in order to be considered for this position.
As a Sub Agent you will assist with the construction strategy, this includes kick-off meetings, pre-commencement documentation such as Method Statements, Environmental and Quality Plans, Construction programmes, procurement and design deliverable schedules.
You will need to be able to liaise with the Agent and Section Foreman to allocate labour, plant, materials and temporary works to carry out the activities to the required standards, programme and budget. You’ll also need to manage the site engineering team and be responsible for the performance and development of Site and Section Engineers.
You will assist with the co-ordination of construction operations, ensuring they conform to the contract requirements and the required level of safety, health, environment and quality (SHEQ). You will also a ssist with the production of programmes, progress reports, resource and cost plans and contribute to financial forecasting, site measurement, material reconciliations and cost control will also be your responsibility.
About You
Key Skills and Qualifications:
* HNC/Degree (Construction/Civil Engineering related) or equivalent.
* Demonstration of knowledge and practical application of Site Engineering activities combined with construction supervision skills
* Must have experience of working on Highways/Utilities
* You must hold the following competencies:
o SMSTS and;
o CSCS White; White-Yellow; Red - Experienced; Black - Manager or Gold - Supervisor
* You must have a Driving License and access to a vehicle
